$100K prize from TechRise Chicago

In the latest edition of Chicago Inno's The Beat, learn more about the local startup that won this year's TechRise pitch competition.

A Chicago startup that has become known as the "Expedia for organ transplants" received a $100K grant last week after winning one of the city's most prominent pitch competitions.

Pulse Charter Connect is a digital platform that aims to streamline scheduling and communication around transporting transplant organs between hospitals and transportation fleets. Since officially launching on April 1, the health care logistics platform has transported more than 60 organs.
