We Won a Chicago pitch competition

Pulse Charter Connect founder and CEO Laura Epstein pitches her business at the TechRise by 33 Season 4 finale

Chicago startup that has become known as the "Expedia for organ transplants" received a $100,000 grant last week after winning one of the city's most prominent pitch competitions.

Pulse Charter Connect is a digital platform that aims to streamline scheduling and communication around transporting transplant organs between hospitals and transportation fleets. Since officially launching on April 1, the health care logistics platform has transported more than 60 organs.

"We've done trips throughout the Midwest and mid-Atlantic and have done all of or most of the solid organs," founder and CEO Laura Epstein told Chicago Inno.
